Report a Homeless AnimalBy Free From Harm Staff Writers | December 2, 2014 Free from Harm is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization which engages in the rescue work of domestic fowl, primarily chickens and ducks, in the Chicago area only. However, we may also be able to assist those outside of the Chicago area by connecting them with other rescuers in their area. Free from Harm does not operate an animal sanctuary; however, we do assist with rescue, rehabilitation and permanent placement of domestic birds through our network of veterinarians, rescue specialists and screened caretakers. If you are in need of assistance with an animal, please use this form to provide as much information as possible and attach good quality closeup photos of the animal(s). The more information you provide us, the better we can evaluate the prospects for rescue. Your pledge to us. Free from Harm believes that adoption is essential to helping reduce the high number of unwanted animals in kill shelters. The extent to which we purchase animals from hatcheries or breeders means abandoned animals in desperate need of homes and those languishing in shelters will not be saved. Therefore, if you have purchased animals, we ask you to take our pledge never to buy and only adopt in the future. We may also ask that you read certain informational material on our website about the hatching and breeding industries. We also believe that caring people like you are partners in our efforts to save animals. As a volunteer-run operation, our staff and resources are extremely limited, so we may ask for your help in the rescue, rehab or transport of animals to the extent that you can help.Name* First Last Phone Number*Alternative phone numberEmail Address* Enter Email Confirm Email Address* Street Address City AlabamaAlaskaAmerican SamoaArizonaArkansasCaliforniaColoradoConnecticutDelawareDistrict of ColumbiaFloridaGeorgiaGuamHawaiiIdahoIllinoisIndianaIowaKansasKentuckyLouisianaMaineMarylandMassachusettsMichiganMinnesotaMississippiMissouriMontanaNebraskaNevadaNew HampshireNew JerseyNew MexicoNew YorkNorth CarolinaNorth DakotaNorthern Mariana IslandsOhioOklahomaOregonPennsylvaniaPuerto RicoRhode IslandSouth CarolinaSouth DakotaTennesseeTexasUtahU.S. Virgin IslandsVermontVirginiaWashingtonWest VirginiaWisconsinWyomingArmed Forces AmericasArmed Forces EuropeArmed Forces Pacific State ZIP Code Are you affiliated with a rescue organization?
